德国默克总经理Stefan Tews：产品品质为行业健康保驾护航

6月9日到10日，照明行业年度盛会——“2016中国广州国际照明论坛”在全球最大照明展广州国际照明展期间隆重举行，我们作为大会报道的官方媒体，特邀德国默克Litec-LLL 总经理Stefan Tews博士来到我们资讯直播现场，与大家共同探讨照明及LED产业发展大计。

记者：在您看来，LED产业呈现了哪些新的趋势?

 reporter：What is your view on the new development trend of LED industry?

Stefan Tews: When we see the LED itself, it is a very young and new technology, it is not only about saving energy, it is about saving material, saving our nature. Because we see it is becoming smaller and smaller that the new trends of chip-scale package, and it is go further down to the wafer-level package, so it can save energy, save material and this is with higher efficiency than any other light, so you can see a bright future of this kind of light.

Stefan Tews: 其实LED本身就是一个非常年轻非常新的技术，这不仅仅关乎节省能源，还节约材料，保护大自然。目前，我们可以看到CSP的体积越来越小，成本越来越低，光效也越来越高，所以我们非常看好这种技术的发展。

记者：这些趋势对LED企业来说，有何影响?您对LED企业有何建议?

 reporter：Will these trends have any impact on the LED companies? And what is the impact? What is your suggestion for the company?

Stefan Tews: For one hand, LED companies as we can see these material trends, now the LED industry has cheaper free-chip companies, on the other hand, you can see these package companies and then the lighting factories, I think it is becoming smaller and company become into more integrated, and from my personal perspective, package companies might get less and disappeared, because the vertical integration of free-chip company should start here.

So if you think about higher efficiency, you always need to look for new materials, new material means higher thermal resistence, longer life time, and get your own core competence.

一方面，从节省材料和成本来看，现在已经有了免封装的企业，另一方面，我们也可以看到封装公司和灯具厂家正在变得越来越小，越来越整合。所以，以我个人来看，封装企业会越来越少，甚至消失。因为垂直整合的免封装公司就是从这里开始。

所以要达到更高的光效，就需要寻求更新更好的材料，更好的材料意味着有更好的散热性，更长的寿命，这就使你拥有更好的核心竞争力。

记者：作为全球领先的荧光粉企业，默克会为照明企业提供哪些领先的技术支持和服务?

 reporter：What technical and service will Merck support to the LED lighting industry development? What is the advantage of them?

Stefan Tews: Merck try to understand the whole LED system, so we are not only working on the phosphor material as a light convertor which is a key component, we are serving the whole LED system, and recently we found a new light convertor, addressing higher thermal stability, and as we have seen now, we can finally fix the temperature problem and less function fade.

默克正在试图理解整个LED系统，所以我们不仅仅研究LED荧光粉这一关键材料，我们是为整个LED系统服务的。最近我们也发现了一个新的材料，具有更高的热稳定性。据我们的研究情况来看，我们可以最终解决温度的瓶颈，并且并不使功能有所退化。

记者：可否谈谈默克未来的技术路线和市场规划?

 reporter：What’s the next plan of Merck for LED industry?

Stefan Tews: We try to see to define the trends and of course to define ourselves next generation of LED, to relay popularity to what is this trends to define new .classes, which can survive and maintain in a better way for this industry, innovation is everything and Merck think this is the most important for us, we always find something interesting of LED.

我们试图去了解整个LED的发展趋势，并据此去研发我们下一代的产品。根据趋势去生产产品，这会让我们更有生命力和竞争力，但另一方面，创新也非常重要，我想这对默克来说是最重要的一点，我们总是去寻求更新颖有趣的LED技术。

记者：可以分享下您对这个行业新的看法吗?

 reporter：Do you have any other new ideas to share with LED industry?

Stefan Tews: The price and solution of LED is very unhealthy in LED industry, we should take care of it, we don’t destroy its value, this is my concentrate. Don’t destroy value and find yourself becoming special, everybody can do everything, the only thing they can do is cheaper, cheaper is fine, but we should become healthy.

目前，由于价格战，整个行业非常不健康，这需要引起我们的关注。我们不要破坏了整个产业的价值，我们要定位好自身，找到自身的特殊价值，这是我所关注的。如果做所有人都能做的事，那一定是低价的，低价本身并没有问题，但我们要保持行业的健康发展。

记者：所以说质量和价格是非常重要的两个因素?

 reporter：So the quality and cost is very important?

Stefan Tews: The cost is important, but might be concentrated on the quality first, cost should be maintained, because we can do it cheaper and cheaper. As we further today for summary case in the afternoon of our speach, which somebody took for free, and something that you can’t get for free. So having it healthy in business, in the long run, it will save our cost.

价格很重要，但我们首先应该保证质量，然后再尽量保持低价。保持行业的健康发展，从长远来看，有利于我们节省成本。
